As a former Upper Westside of New York City resident helping other New Yorkers ease into suburbia is a favorite aspect of working as an Essex County Realtor. A passion for architecture and home decor combined with a gregarious personality made Montclair real estate a natural career choice for Amy Owens. With a fine eye for seeing the potential in any property, she and her husband Dan are currently renovating their 1907 Craftsman Tudor in Glen Ridge. They previously restored a Second Empire Victorian also in Glen Ridge. After growing up in Alabama and earning a B.S degree in Clothing, Textiles and Design from the University of Alabama, Amy Owens moved to NYC where she lived for 13 years and worked in the NYC fashion industry rising to Production Manager for Donna Karan International. Her career experience impacts her understanding of NYC commuter needs and her fifteen years experience in managing garment production gives Amy Owens an edge as an experienced negotiator and meticulous facilitator.
